Import BID
Transaction IMPBID
SWIFT provides the file BICplusIBAN and the the BankdirectoryPlus (in the versions Full and Delta), respectively.
Import File Requirements
In order for the Transaction to recognize the file format in case of the BankDirectoryPlus, the filename has to start with either 'BANKDIRECTORYPLUS_V3_FULL' resp. 'BANKDIRECTORYPLUSV3FULL'
or 'BANKDIRECTORYPLUS_V3_DELTA' resp. 'BANKDIRECTORYPLUS_V3_DELTA'.
Both file formats can be imported by means of this Transaction.
The full file path for the import file file needs to be entered in the “Path” field.
Clicking 
will import the appropriate file in the BID table of the application.
The user then has access to all the data contained in the file.
Content previously available in the table is deleted when the import process is initiated (with the exception of BankDirectoryPlus-Delta files!).
Clicking 
displays the log file for the transaction.
N.B.: The BATIN sub-folder needs to be added to the DATA folder in the application and the import file needs to be stored in this sub-folder.
The file has to be in ASCII format with a .TXT extension.
