Help Diary Selection
Transaction DIASEL
This transaction is used to display and to select the diaries available in the system.
The selection of the diaries can be narrowed by the following criteria available via combobox “Selection of Users”:
- All Users
- Own Entries
- Selected User Group
- Selected User
Furthermore, the fields “from” and “to” a period of time can be defined for showing the diaries. The combobox “Reference” is used to search for reference numbers of contracts, whereas partial strings can also be used for the search. By selecting a business sector via combobox “Bus.Sector” the search for diaries can be limited to a particular business sector.
A transaction entry on the list is opened either by a double click or by selecting the entry and pressing enter key or by clicking the display icon 
on the top right panel.
In either case, the relevant diary will be displayed on a separate (window)panel.
By clicking the button [Process] on the separate panel the transaction belonging to the diary will be called.
By clicking the icon 
on panel “Diary Selection” when a diary is selected, the relevant diary is set to “Done” (multiple selection is possible via the CTRL key).
Diaries can be changed via the icon 
, whereas the transaction “Modifying Diary” (DBEDIA) will be opened.
In case the icon 
is clicked when a diary is selected, the selection transaction is started with the data of the relevant contract of the diary belonging to the business sector.
A selected diary can be printed by clicking
