This transaction has been introduced to copy a group of existing Guarantee texts (GTX) to Advanced Text Module (ATX) for Guarantees.
All existing fields in the GTX text will be copied to the ATX table. Fields that must be updated to suit the new values will be updated automatically. E.g. Values in the field ‘Legal Form’ will be automatically mapped to one of the new values allowed in ATX. For the Legal Forms of Undertaking known to the product that means that ISP, UCP will be Legal Form = STBY in ATX and the others will be DGAR.
When the GTX text is copied to ATX, the Checkbox ‘Guarantee Text for non-electronic undertakings’ is set automatically and the ‘Name’ of the text will be appended with ‘(letter vers.)’ which will then be displayed in transaction Creating a Guarantee/Standby in the field ‘Choice of Text’. This will allow the user to easily pick the ‘old’ undertaking text when processing the guarantee opening transaction.
GTX text that were already copied into ATX will not be copied again as the text might have been changed in ATX afterwards. If there is a need to copy a GTX text again into ATX, the previously copied ATX text must be deleted first.
